Located in the north London inner-city district of Islington. The building was constructed in 1902 and the Islington Picture Palace was most likely a shop conversion, probably operating prior to the 1910 Cinematograph Licencing Act coming into force.
In 2009, it was a bar/restaurant known as Cuba Libre which had closed by 2014.

Gracie Fields once lived here as commemorated by the blue plaque. Unable to find any other reference to this cinema.
