The 4-screen Reel Cinema opened on 13th June 2008. Situated above the new Asda store on stilts, it has seating for 111 in screen 1, 195 in screen 2, 165 in screen 3 and 131 in screen 4. The opening films were "Super Hero Movie"/"The Happening", "The Incredible Hulk", "Sex in the City" and "Indiana Jones 4".
The cinema uses Kineton equipment and has Dolby digital stereo sound.
A 73-seat screen 5 has been created on the lower floor in a former small arcade.
It was taken over by the Odeon Cinemas Group chain on 4th November 2011, and re-named Odeon.

Not sure the best way to report out of date information, so I’ll stick it here. The cinema’s lobby/ticket desks are all quite high up (as the ASDA takes up much of the floor space lower down), so immediately after entrance there are a pair of lifts (or a long staircase!). The four main screens are accessed this way. However, on opening there was a small arcade downstairs (I don’t know whether this was operated by Reel or another company). At some point (whether before or after the Odeon takeover I cannot remember), this was converted into “screen 5”, a rather poor, small screen with 73 non-tiered seats and a reduced ticket price. Initially a small ticket and confectionary booth were located downstairs but this quickly closed to be replaced with a ticket collection machine, now also gone, so customers must go upstairs to buy or collect their tickets before coming back to the screen proper!
The Odeon manager warns that those using screen 5 who are below 5ft 8 inches may have a restricted view. The foyer is 73 steps or a lift above the small entrance lobby and has café tables where 20 people can have a great view of Andover. The 4 screens are down a winding corridor past the sales kiosk. Not unexpectedly this does not feel like a typical Odeon. In contrast the adjacent Asda has a travellator from the ground floor.
