The Jackson Drive-In opened on April 17, 1948 with Roy Rogers in “Springtime in the Sierras”. This single screen ozoner was listed with a car capacity of 520. By 1955 it had been renamed Auto Drive-In and was operated by Lawrence J. Aubry and Cooperative Ct. From 1966 until its closing in 1986 it was operated by National Amusements. It has since been demolished. Henry Ford Alliance Clinic now stands on part of the site. Some ramps are still there but are barely visible.
