The Sunset Drive-In was located about halfway between Martin and Union City on what was then Highway 22. It was on the right side of the highway if you were driving from Martin to Union City close to the Weakley-Obion county line.
The Sunset Drive-In was opened by 1952 and was operated by the Ruffin Amusement Co. of Covington. It was still open in the early-1970’s, but has now been closed for many years, and I believe a new Highway 22 has been built which bypasses where the drive-in was. In the late-1990’s, the marquee was still standing, and I believe land was being used for a farm equipment auction service.

Approx. location is about a block west of Tennessee 431 & Ennis Rd, Weakley, Tennessee 38237.
Ramps, ticket office & concession building look like they are still there. the screen foundation looks like its still there also.
Google Street View from December 2015 shows that the screen is still standing, and is in REALLY bad shape.
Still open in the mid-1980s.
The ticket booth was still there in 2012, but gone by 2015. The support poles for the marquee which were still there in 2015 was reduced to one by 2022. And gone by 2024.
The screen is in tatters, but still standing along with the projection booth.
