The Ray Theater was one of many projects started by the Ray-Regan family, who owned the hotel next door, the St. Charles. The Ray Theater was open from 1911 to 1915 and may have reopened later. The building containing the theater burned down during the St. Charles Hotel fire on February 1 1950.
