Opened by Hoyts on June 25, 1993. 10-screen multiplex at the Silver City Galleria Mall in Taunton, MA. It was taken over by Regal on March 28, 2003.
The Silver City Galleria Mall that the theatre was located in was closed on March 1, 2020 and was demolished in early-2022.

Article on facebook this morning from the local newspaper says most tenants will be out of the mall by the end of Feb. I wonder if the theatre will be closing. No word in the article.
Taunton did had a Hoyts (former United Artists) eight-screen theater on 290 Winthrop Street before the Silver City Galleria 10 launched in 1992. Both theaters compete each other until the Hoyts Taunton Cinema 8 (formerly known as the Route 24 Cinema) closed in July 1997 after a nearly 20+ year run.
Taken over by Regal on March 28, 2003.
Hoyts opened the Silver City Galleria 10 on June 25th, 1993. Grand opening ad posted.
