The Martin Theatre opened in November 1949. It was operated by MCM and later by M&M. It was closed in 1991.

The Martin Theatre in Wildwood opened November 10, 1949. The architect was Howell C. Hopson, according to the November 19 issue of Boxoffice.
Various issues of Boxoffice indicate that Hopson also designed the Lake Theatre at Tavares, Florida, which was built for Martin in 1948, but that house isn’t listed at Cinema Treasures. I can’t find any other theaters designed by Hopson.
A couple of issues of Movie Age from 1929 mention a Sylvan Theatre in Wildwood. A 1941 issue of Boxoffice mentions a Wildwood Theatre at Wildwood, Florida. A couple of 1948 issues of Boxoffice mention a Corbett Theatre there.
It looks like it’s currently a real estate office. The Corbett is mentioned on Cinematour along with the Martin, both on Main Street.
Yep, looks like 2 or 3 entrances to the building. Sun Realty is listed in some places as 206 or 206B N. Main St. So they could be the central entrance, the left side entrance looks like it goes up some steps first. My guess is there are at least 2 business at this address. Not sure where 282 N. Main St. above refers to.
Guess it works out! Church makes all it’s racket on Sunday and Wed nights, after the Realty office is closed….
