The Victory Theatre opened on 20th October 1920. It closed on 14th September 1955 with Susan Hayward in “With a Song in My Heart” & Edgar Lustgarten in “The Candlelight Murder”. The Victory Theatre was operated by the Hoyts Theatres Ltd. chain.
After closing the building was used as a supermarket. In 2006, the building was home to the Spotlight Sewing Centre, selling fabrics and home furnishings. In 2010, it is a Linkcraft fabrics store.

Named Hoyts Victoty after Lord Horatio Nelson’s ship Victory. The Supermarket' was called Malvern Victoty Supermarket'.
