The photo features a junior concierge standing out the front of The Albany (Newsreel Theatrette) in Collins St Melbourne, dressed in what can only be described as a bellhop uniform. The theatre seats 268 people, yet the sign in the showcase boasts that it’s a newsreel theatre in miniature. Never-the-less the concierge must attract attention as he spruiks the passer-by as to the joys of The Albany’s cinematic offerings
