AMC Dine-In Coral Ridge 10 Theatre

Fort Lauderdale had not seen new theater construction for a decade by the time AMC opened the Coral Ridge 10 on March 25, 1988, featuring two THX-certified 500-seat auditoriums (one originally fitted for 70MM), accompanied by eight smaller screens. From 1988 to 1999 (and several years since), the venue hosted the Fort Lauderdale Film Festival.

This theatre is now AMC Dine In Coral Ridge 10 Theatre, with 5 auditoriums as Fork & Screen, and the other 5 as Cinema Suites.

Oh nice. What are cinema suites?

Fork & Screen = open to all ages. Cinema Suites = 21 and over only (with beer/wine service). So far, the food is superior to what I’ve tried at the competition. I’m also glad to see one of my favorite theaters finally refurbed.

The lobby refit includes a new bar, MacGuffins — Hitchcock reference intended.
