Originally opened as the Gem Theatre. It was renamed Liberty Theatre by 1930. The Liberty Theatre is still listed in 1955. In September 1968 it was taken over by Kerasoates Theatres. In 2015 it is in use as a children’s bouncy house play center.

The address on the Liberty/Gem Theatre should be 105 S. Madison St., Malden, MO 63863. The building is still standing and in use.
I saw Tom Sawyer there as a kid in the 1950’s.
Uploaded an image as the Liberty.
Acquired by Kerasotes Theatres in September 1968.
