The Pow Wow Drive-In Theatre was operated by (RKO subsidiary) Video Independent Theaters Inc. It was opened on June 19, 1952 with Doris Day in “The Winning Team”. It was still open in 1963 but had been demolished by 1980.

The drive-in is located on the west side of Old State Hwy 56, about 1.5 miles north of town.
Here is a 1971 aerial photo of the drive-in, courtesy of Earth Explorer and USGS:

A closer address (at least for Google) is 12649 S 366 5 Rd, Wewoka, OK 74884. Today, the property is a private residence with no trace of the drive-in remaining. http://tinyurl.com/j2pyb6n
Interesting name!! “Was there a Native American meeting place where the drive-in was?”
Okay I guess I missed it…Sorry.
Kenmore: Are you in Kenmore, NY, outside Buffalo? Or are you named after the appliance company?
No, I’m not from Kenmore, NY. However, some people call me the “major appliance”.
Boom, boom!!
The Pow Wow Drive-In opened its gates on June 19, 1952 with Doris Day in “The Winning Team” along with the Bugs Bunny Merrie Melodie “Hare We Go” and the Tom And Jerry cartoon “Casanova Cat”.
It was managed by Woody Minor of his own local theater chain, and was supervised by Marvin Little. There were also Chinese elm trees being planted all around the theater.
It was gone in the 1980 aerial. A house was built on the site of the concession stand.
