Shelmar Theatre

The Shelmar Theatre opened as a regular movie theatre prior to 1941 and continued into the 1950’s. It later became a burlesque house. On January 1, 1965 it opened as an adult movie theatre. It closed on March 3, 1983.

The building today is a restaurant called Toast On Market.

January 1st, 1965 reopening ad as an adult cinema in photo section.
