Located in the southeast London district of Camberwell. The North Camberwell Cinema opened in around 1919. It was possibly located in a pre-existing hall. By 1923 or 1924 it had been re-named Cosy Cinema and was operated by the Dove family.

By 1927 it had a new owner and was re-named Southampton Cinema. However, this seems to have been short lived and it was closed in 1928, never being equipped to screen sound films.
