The Elvis Arvada location closed on March 16, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic along with Elvis Cinemas other two locations. The Arvada showed outdoor movies on the face of the building as a drive-in during the pandemic before reopening late in the year. The location then switched to a first-run house and was completely reseated in 2022. However, it was permanently closed along with many movie theaters due to dwindling audiences in the streaming era on February 28, 2023. The other two Elvis locations had also closed - the Elvis Tiffany Plaza Movies 6 in December 2022 and the Littleton Elvis Cinemas Kipling 6 in February of 2023 - ending the fledgling circuit.

Silver Cinemas operated this also as a sub-run discount house until May 1, 2000 when it shut down 17 locations including here as the Super Saver 8, the Kipling location as well as the Aurora Super Saver.

Opened as a newly constructed venue in the mid-1990s as part of the multi-state Super Saver Cinemas chain. At some point it became Silver Cinemas, and finally the locally-owned (Littleton, CO – based) Elvis Cinemas, which took over the three Super Saver venues in the Denver metro area.

I have been visiting the Elvis cinema in Arvada off and on for years, and now visit the one at Tiffany frequently. The conditions have always been acceptable, as clean as a first run type theater on a busy night, and the restrooms fair – maybe out of soap, but that seems to be the norm in our modern world ;). Never waded through trash – a spilled popcorn, maybe, but that does happen at any theater. Somewhere to take a first date- nope. Somewhere to take my 11 year old son and his friends for a manageable price – ABSOLUTELY!
