Bountiful Theatre

The Bountiful Theatre was opened September 10, 1923 with Thomas Meighan in “Manslaughter” with seating at 656, all on a single floor. The Bountiful Theatre was remodeled in 1941, to the plans of architect Paul K. Evans. It was closed in January 1958.

The Streamline Moderne style building at this address houses a dance school named the Creative Arts Academy.

Boxoffice, Jan. 13, 1958: “The Bountiful in Bountiful, Utah, has been closed by Julian Bills, who says he will remodel the Bountiful Drive-In this summer to give it conventional seating of some type as well as the ozoner seating”
