The Nampa 6 Cinemas was opened on June 30, 1989 by Cineplex Odeon. They closed it on February 15, 2001. It reopened on march 23, 2001 as the 6-screen Reel Theatre operated by the independent Reel Theatres chain. It was closed on March 24, 2024.

Reel operated at two locations in Nampa. The Nampa Reel Theatre (this one) was previously called the Nampa 6 Cinemas. There was also the Karcher Reel Theatre, originally opened in 1973 as the Karcher Twin Cinemas, at 1509 Caldwell Boulevard in the Karcher Mall.
I like the name.

Closed by Cineplex Odeon on February 15th, 2001 and reopened as Nampa Reel on March 23rd, 2001.
Nampa Reel Theatre will be closing for good on March 24, 2024.
The Nampa Reel Theatre installed digital projectors to all screens on September 28, 2012.
