Gulf to Bay Drive-In

The Gulf to Bay Drive-In was opened on November 15, 1949. It had a capacity for 500 cars. It was closed on July 25, 1984 with Lucinda Dickey in “Breakin'” & David Naughton in “Hot Dog…The Movie”. In early-1985 it was demolished and apartments were built on the site.

This location is now an apartment complex. I know, because I live there. Just stumbled across this one. Very cool!

The Gulf-To-Bay Opened Its Gates On November 15, 1949. It Was Closed On July 25, 1984 With “Breakin'” And “Hot Dog” As Its Last Films. It Was Later Announce That August That Apartment Sites Will Be Constructed In Its Site, Which Began In Early 1985.
