The 10-screen AMC opened on 25th March 1988. In December 1988, it was taken over by UCI and re-branded. In October 2004, UCI were taken over by Terra Firma, who operated the Odeon Cinemas Group and it was re-branded Odeon.
Seating capacities in the screens ranged from 278, down to 189 giving a total capacity of 2080. In June 2019 it was refurbished and reopened as the Odeon Luxe with seating capacities reduced to 101 down to 53, giving a total capacity of 681.
