The Scenic Drive-In was one of three drive in’s in Newport during the 1970’s. It was located on Highway 25 West, on the left side of the highway if you were driving towards Newport. I don’t know exact address, but it was adjacent to and west of the Woodzo Drive-In (1026 West Highway 25 70).
I’m fairly sure the Scenic Drive-In closed many years before the Woodzo Drive-In, which lasted at least into the 1990’s.
During its final years of operation in the 1980’s, the Scenic Drive-In was renamed Newport Drive-In (not to be confused with the towns' original Newport Drive-In).

Approx. address or this drive-in was 1036 W Hwy 25 70.
December 2016 Google Street view the remnants of the screen are still visible, and the aerial view has the outline of the ramps still visible. Historic Aerials from 1991 and 1997 show the screen and the projection booth easily visible.
