No it is not. It is a good 20+ Miles to the Pennsylvania border from this DI…with the Elm Road Triple DI in between!

Is the drive-in in both Ohio and Pennsylvania?

The 1952 Theatre Catalog listed the Skyway as capacity 300, owner Ohio Th. Service and H. Horstemeier. The 1955-56 edition added R.H. Hanley.

The 1952-66 Motion Picture Almanacs showed the owner or booker as Ohio Theatre Service Corp. The 1978-88 editions listed S. Doane as the owner.

Other records suggest that Stanley Doane, president of the Doane Theater Corporation, owns the Skyway.

According to Vindy.com, on May 9, 1977: Trumbull County deputy sheriffs raid the Skyway Drive-In theater in Warren Township, confiscate an X-rated movie, Russ Meyer’s “Up,” and arrest the theater’s owner, Steve Doane. Sheriff Richard Jakmas said the theater has been under investigation since January, when a complaint was filed.
