Pemberton Picture Theatre

The Pemberton Picture Theatre was a wooden building, constructed in 1929. In the 1951-52 edition of Film Weekly Motion Picture Directory, the only listing for a cinema in Pemberton is for a touring (mobile) cinema which called into Pemberton, operated by the Allen Jones No 1 circuit. The Pemberton Picture Theatre must have been closed at that time.

Later reopened and closed in the early-1970’s. In 1999 the building was converted into holiday apartments.
