The Hung Shui Kiu Theatre was situated in Hung Shui Kiu in the New Territories. In 27th October 1965, eight construction workers were injured in the unfinished building whilst the theatre was under construction.

It opened to business in 20th January 1966, and showed selected films until its closure in late-1970’s. The three-storey theatre building had an 800-seat auditorium as well as ten shops on the ground floor, with shops and cafe on the mezzanine and first floor.

After its closure, the auditorium was once converted into a studio. The theatre building had been demolished and a residential building was built on the site of the theatre.
