This opened on October 10th, 1946. Grand opening ad in the photo section.

I spent many hours from the early to late fifties watching all the latest movies at the Rodeo theatre, I was there back in the late 90’s I believe and the auditorium sure looked smaller than it did during the 50’s

I was also anxious to see if anyone knows when the Rodeo theatre first opened and finally closed from showing movies?

Okla Opry, 1940-present, featured movies into the early 1980s with an original capacity of approx 1300 seats.
Again, some people want to label every theater as Art Deco. From the posted photo it can clearly be seen that this structure is 1940s STREAMLINE!
