Odeon Silverlink

Located halfway between Wallsend and North Shields, Tyne & Wear, in the Silverlink Shopping Park. The 9-screen UCI opened in March 1999 with 2,140 seats. In October 2004 it was taken over by Odeon Cinemas Group and re-branded Odeon North Shields. Seating capacities in the screens ranged from 410, down to 156.

In December 2017 one of the screens was converted into a 169-seat IMAX cinema and the cinema was renamed Odeon Silverlink. With a reduced seating capacity of 1,877, capacities in the other screens now range from 323 down to 155.

The IMAX auditorium (Screen 5) has now been refurbished with 165 recliner seats and rebranded as Odeon Luxe.

It is not clear if the other auditoria are to be refurbished too
