The Cinema Roma was built in 1937 as the Cinema Excelsior. The facade is decorated with precious marble. Seating is provided in orchestra & balcony levels. It was re-named Cinema Roma during the Italian fascist occupation.
In 2005 it was restored to its original 1940’s appearance. The foyer is used as the Cine Roma Cafe.

Mr Roe can you be more specific about where these theaters are? Martyrs Avenue, Asmara is pretty meaningless to us unless you expect us to google it.
Cinema Treasures covers the whole world and pages are sometimes created with only a small amount of information. Over time further details are usually added to pages. I just found the seating capacity of this cinema and a more precise address and have added them.
