This GCC house opened on June 6, 1978 as a quad. As the Hialeah market became more lucrative an additional four screens were added on June 21, 1986.
In 1996, GCC sold it to an independent who renamed it the Favorite Cinemas and ran it as a discount subrun house until 2003.

now part of miami-dade college. it closed due to competition from united artists/later muvico theaters and its availability to show first run features, as well as having a better interior
The Hialeah Cinema I-II-III-IV was opened on June 16th, 1978 by General Cinema Corporation. Grand opening ad posted. The link that I posted 10 years ago is now dead. Linkrot repair coming soon.
