Nearby Theaters
Located in the Hengrove/Filwood Park district to the south of the city. The 14-screen Cineworld opened on 12th December 1997. Seating capacities in the screens range from 344, down to 97. It was closed on 26th November 2023. Developers have been given permission to demolish the cinema and a nearby bingo club, to build ‘hunfred of homes’.

This was the first multiplex to have stadium seating in Bristol – but only in 5 of the screens. Showcase promptly retrofitted stadium seating in 13 of their screens at Avonmouth soon afterwards.
