The Ellisburg Theatre was located in the shopping center at the Ellisburg Circle on Route 70 in Cherry Hill. Originally a single screen which opened June 25, 1969, it was twinned in the late-1970’s/early-1980’s like most of the theatres in the area.
Notable that in addition to screening many blockbuster-type films, it also showed “Caligula” during that film’s theatrical release
After it closed in the early-1980’s, the building was occupied by a Herman’s Sporting Goods, a Gymboree, Atlantic Book Warehouse, and now, a Dollar Tree.

Originally a Budco theater. First feature shown here was “Goodbye Columbus.”
Mothers day and dawn of the dead were shown here on a double bill in 1981..
A little late…but yes, the 1983 pic is this theater.
This opened on June 25th, 1969. Its grand opening ad in the photo section.
