The New Universal Cinema was situated in the Kwun Chung district on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong.

The cinema opened to business in June 1993, and showed first-run English language and Chinese dialect films until its closure in Febuary 1995.

It was adjacent to the Kwun Chung Theatre and its 151-seat auditorium was on the ground floor of a residential building.

After its closure,the cinema was converted into a shop.
