The location is essentially behind where the Chevron gas station and convenience store is currently located, at the corner of 11th Street and Chrisman Road.

ADD: The zip code should actually 95304, as JWMovies noted. It was in the Banta end of town.

A more accurate address (at least for Google) is 23901 North Chrisman Road, Tracy, CA 95304. Today, a small industrial park with a series of businesses occupies the property.

There is no trace of the drive-in remaining. http://tinyurl.com/ztx8z2w

It appears that the Showboat’s last show was Oct. 1, 1956. The double feature was “The Grapes of Wrath” and “Tobacco Road.” Five days later, Boxoffice noted, “The Showboat Drive-In at Tracy was closed indefinitely October 1 by Principal Theatres”

The Showboat continued to host Easter sunrise services for a few years. The 1959 announcements called it the former Showboat Drive-In.
