Accorrding To Google Earth, This Has To Be Closed Sometime In The Late 1980s I Believe. And Everything Except For The Screen Still Stands Vacant Today. It Left Vacant Since As Old As 1990.
A more accurate address for this theater is 10765 SE Powell Blvd, Portland, OR 97266. This points directly to the marquee! The added screen was actually near 104th Avenue.

Google Street View from September 2017 still has the Marquee up, cage and all.
This opened on September 16th, 1959. It’s grand opening ad has been uploaded in the photo page for this drive-in.
It was either that or they had enough of theatre employees from other theatre chains changing their Marquee. I had it done to me by the gang from NATIONAL HILLS,redoing the Marquee at COLUMBIA 1 and 2 which served me right because several months earlier me and some Plitt Theatre guys rode to the HILLTOP DRIVE -in And Changed their Marquee to something I cannnot print on CT. Don’t you love the real Theatre business 1974-80.

I think they were trying to save it.

I saw “Dr Jekyle & Ms. Hyde and Batman Forever here, I think in 1995. There were multiple screens.
The lot is now used for storing the local carnival’s trailers. Also I think that large metal storage buildings have been put on the property.
The 104th had the largest screen in Portland when it was built. 125 feet wide. Unfortunately, the picture was alway a bit dim. In later years the theater was divided and a smaller screen added. After it closed, the small screen from the twin was moved to the 99w in Newberg to replace the screen that had been damaged during a wind storm.
