Wallace Theater ... Goldsmith Texas 1940

Another in a long list of Wallace theaters this one was a free standing building in the 1940’s. It was located at the northern end of the town and had "Wallace" spelled out on individual circles accented with neon on two sides of a tall angular sign. Under the sign was an ornate marquee that sheltered a recessed outside ticket booth with entrances on either side.

In the 1960’s it was renamed Gay Theatre and following its closure it was used by the local boy scouts troupe. It was demolished in 1994.

Re-named Gay Theatre in the 60s and demolished in 1994. Was located at the northern most tip of the town. Was home to the local Boy Scout troop at the end.
