The UA Times Square Cinema is situated in the Causeway Bay district on the Hong Kong Island.
The cinema showed first-run English and Chinese dialect films since its opening in December 1993.
Its four DTS sound system auditoriums and spacious lobby with confectionery kiosk are on the first floor of the shopping centre of the Times Square, while the ticket booth is on the ground floor. The ticket booth and the lobby is connected by two escalators. The UA Times Square Cinema was closed on 1st February 2012, and will be converted into retail use.

I have heard the news that UA Times Square will be closed down due to the massive increse in rent.
The cinema closed on 1st February, 2012. The premises of the former cinema will be converted into three shops, with the smaller ones on the ground floor, while the two large ones on the second floor.
