Main Event Entertainment

This theatre opened July 2, 1993 by General Cinema. It was to be the first new theatre built in ten years in the Indianapolis area. Last operated by AMC, it closed as the AMC Clearwater Crossing 12 on December 13, 2007.

It was converted into a leisure center named Latitude 360, which closed in late-2015. In 2017 it reopened as the Main Event Entertainment amusement center.

This theatre closed on December 13, 2007. It was replaced by the new AMC Castleton Square 14, located 2 miles East on 82nd St at the Castleton Square Mall. The theatre is vacant, all equipment, seats, screens, etc. were removed.

I don’t think Main Event is a movie theater, so as far as a Cinema Treasure goes, this theater is closed.

This closed as the AMC Clearwater Crossing 12 - and should be the entry’s name. It became the Latitude 360 without playing films and it became a Main Event that didn’t play films. And, also, it went out of business as a Main Event. So closed
