The Hub Drive-In was outside Covington on the way to Newborn. It was opened by 1950 and operated by the Hub Drive-In Company. It was still open in 1982 and following closure the screen and buildings just rotted down. One night before it closed, my family rode by and cars were lined up to US 278 to get in. We heard they were playing an X-rated movie.

Found it. The Hub Drive-In is located on 100 State Highway 11, Social Circle, GA 30025. Judging from the aerial views, it opened earlier than 1955. It appears operational in 1982 but the screen was removed by 1988 meaning that the theater closed in the mid-1980s.
The concession stand/projector booth was still up in 2000, but had been demolished by 2007. The marquee also appears to have been removed as well. At that time, the property was still fairly open, but a few years later it became completely overgrown with trees.
Apart from the outline, there is no trace of the drive-in remaining.
