The Emma Theater was opened in 1909. On September 1, 1935 it was renamed Rio Theatre. It was closed in November 1948.

The Ritz was on Eighth. I don’t know the address for the Rio.

The Rio Theater was built by W.A.Coughnauer in 1909 as the Emma Theater, after his daughter name, renamed Rio Theater in 1945, it closed around 1949.

The December 3, 1949 issue of Boxoffice had an article about the dismantling of the Rio Theatre. It said that the Rio had been closed since the opening of the new Charm Theatre, which had taken place in November, 1948.
