The Drive-In was opened by 1955 when it was operated by J. Asadorian & Daytz Theatre Enterprises Corp. It was located on the corner of Route 38 and 495, where Home Depot now stands. The main screen stood where an Applebees Restaurant now stands in front. It was later renamed Wamesit Drive-In and later a second screen was added to become the Wamesit Twin Drive-In. A third screen was added and it was torn down around 1992.
