Was originally a Jerry Lewis Cinema, opening on February 10, 1972 as the Jerry Lewis Cinema-Crossroads. It was closed and reopened on September 9, 1977 as the Crossroads Cinemas, screening Jacqueline Bisset in “The Deep”, Michael Caine in “The Eagle Has Landed” & Barbra Streisand in “A Star Is Born”. Closed again permanently on November 1, 1984 with Clint Eastwood in “Tightrope” & Charles Bronson in “The Evil That Men Do” in screen 1 & Friday the 13th Part 2", Friday the 13th Part III", “Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter” in screen 2.

I did visit the Crossroads Cinema around the late 1980s when it was a sub-run theater…my late mom and I saw the two “Butch Cassidy” movies. Today, it serves as Schools Federal Credit Union branch. My sister-in-law used to work there! Coincidence…

This opened as the Jerry Lewis Cinema – Crossroads on February 10th, 1972 and renamed Crossroads Cinema shortly after the Jerry Lewis program fell apart. It reopened as the Crossroads I & II on September 9th, 1977. Grand opening ads posted.

This location closed in style as a sub-run discount house playing an Eastwood/Bronson double feature of “Tightrope” and “The Evil That Men Do” on Screen 1 and a Halloween spectacular, “Friday the 13th” triple feature on Screen 2 with parts 2, 3 and 4 on November 1, 1984.
