Now thats a rave review!
Clean, friendly theatre in classy suburban mall in shining shopping district. EXCELLENT VALUE! Movies on a big screen for just $4.00! Close to Sears.
This opened as 4 Theatres of the Future on June 2nd, 1972 by UA. Grand opening ad posted.
Correction: UA sunrise 4 was on Sunrise Blvd. Citrus Heights Drive-In (NOT SUNRISE DRIVE-IN!) was on Auburn Blvd. near Hwy 80/Eisenhower Frwy… Let’s be clear about this. UA Greenback 6 (also closed) and Century Greenback Lane 16 (now open) were closer. This location was across from the now closed Birdcage Walk and closer to the Orangevale Drive-In…To clear up any confusion. 🤣🤣😍
Closed before the pandemic and never reopened. This mall used to be magical but is nearly dead now with many empty stores including Sears. Plans are to demolish the mall and build a more up to date ‘urban village’ type center.
