The Harlo Theater was opened on February 17, 1948. It was owned by H.W. Knutsman who also owned the towns' State Theatre. The manager was George Moe.
Today this theater is owned by the local high school and was running “Shane” on the weekend last time I was through there in 2006.

The students continue the operation of the Harlo Theater according to an informative article in The Great Falls Tribune of April 9, 2012. The profits of the operation provide scholarship money for the student workers.
I now live in Harlowton and go to the show here every 2 weeks when something is playing. This past weekend was Kong Vs. Godzilla (2021).
