The Strand Theatre was opened in October 1914. The 1934 edition of Film Daily Yearbook lists it as (Closed).
It actually closed earlier as it was demolished and the Greenbrier Theatre (later renamed Temple Theatre) was built and opened on the site in 1932. It was demolished in 1966.

This building is not demolished, it’s still standing. It was slated for demolition but is now likely to be preserved or at least mothballed.
Incorrect. This building was demolished in 1966 to make way for the Kanawha Valley Bank’s new building.
