Closed down in 1942 due to the wartime ban on driving for pleasure. It was rebuilt and reopened on May 25th, 1949. Grand opening ad in the photo section. See Piedmont Avenue Drive-In for more information about the Parking Palaces.
First listed as “Parking Palace” in July 1936 becoming the first drive-in in Georgia.
Aerial from 1960, it was gone in 1968.
