Park Cinema

The Park Cinema was located in the centre of Kabul and screened ‘Bollywood’ films. It was also available for hire as a venue for special events. In 2007 the final of the Mr Kabul body-building contest was held here.

It was owned by the Kabul City Government. It was demolished in November 2020.

The Park Cinema is the theater that Amir and Hassan go to in the novel “The Kite Runner”.
