This theater is pretty nice for what it is. Comfortable seats, and good sound. I remember this as being the first theater I ever saw an advertisment for Titanic, 2 years before it hit theaters. It was a black standee that just said “James Cameron’s Titanic. Coming Soon.”
Saw the Brady Bunch movie here while attending Rowan. Only other one I recall is Scream.
Google Earths shows the theatre was there in 1995. I believe it was built sometime in 1994
Correct. Both this and the UA Cross Keys were built around that time.
This opened on December 9th, 1994. Its grand opening ad can be found in the photo section for this cinema.
Throughout my life, I’ve seen the following movies here: Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Clockstoppers, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, American Hustle, Taken 3, Ouija: Origin of Evil, Split, Get Out, The Belko Experiment, Phoenix Forgotten, Happy Death Day, and mother!
More will likely follow in the next few months…
This is one of the few Regal theatres that are not reserved seating
