Lilfred Theater

Union Springs, AL, was the base for Fred T. McLendon Theaters, a large chain in the early-1950’s to early-1970’s, with theaters in Alabama, Georgia, Florida and North Carolina. The Lilfred Theatre was opened by 1931. It was a McLendon theater in 1950 and they still operated it in 1957.
