The Universal Theatre opened on September 9, 1914. It changed names to the Liberty Theatre in 1917. Ads were discontinued following the November 5, 1938 showing of “Guilty Trails.”

Some of these Reverse Cinemas had two entrances or more so you did not always walk in,in reverse as they say,such as the Hippodrome Theatre Nashville,Tennessee was like that.

The “reverse” autditorium plan can clearly be seen on this site;

This was a “reverse” style cinema, with seating facing the lobby area.
