I remember the manager, Arthur Seddon.
As the 1960s were coming to end in the wider world, the 1950s had not yet begun in Arthur’s head.
I also recall the young cashier, Linda Conn.

This was my first Assistant Managers post at the ABC Barnsley in 1971 when Arthur Seddon was the Manager. When the ABC Barnsley closed, Arthur who had been the Barnsley manager for many years, moved to the ABC Hull.
