The Petit Cine I & II was Albany’s only adult movie theatre opening on June 25, 1973 with screen 1 playing “Head Nurse” & “Eyeball” & “Juice” & “Waitresses” playing in screen 2. In later years screen 1 played straight films and screen 2 played gay male films. It closed in August 1984 and became a Jiffy Lube oil change business, which is now closed. The building is still there, boarded up.

When the porno theater closed and the quick lube moved in, did anything really change?
LOL
Opened June 25th, 1973. Grand opening ad posted.
This closed in 1984. Films were last advertised on March 11, 1984, though it was still listed on showtimes into as late as August 30, 1984. Otherwise, I cannot confirm the exact closing date.
