More likely the Theatre was named with respect to Manor Avenue.
According to the Leader-Observer — the local weekly newspaper of the area — the Manor was between Manor Avenue [95th Street] and Willard Avenue [96th Street] on Jamaica Avenue [f/k/a the Brooklyn & Jamaica Plank Road]. If the building number was indeed even then it would be on the south side of Jamaica.
The local.live location is that of the Loews Willard.

Thanks for the before and after photo.
Good observation. Yes, that area was known as Brooklyn Manor. There was an LIRR station of the old abandoned LIRR Rockaway line on Jamaica Ave near there called “Brooklyn Manor”. It was abandoned in 1962. The theater was almost certainly named for that lost town name.
The 1914-1915 edition of American Motion Picture Directory gives the Manor Theatre address as 1706 (or 1796-the print is blurred) Jamaica Avenue, Woodhaven, NY. Jamaica Avenue has obviously been re-numbered since 1915 as the location doesn’t map at Jamaica & 86th Street.
I went to local.live and found this building at 96th and Jamaica which CERTAINLY looks like a theater building. But it seems much bigger than a 750 seat theater… So, if this building in the below link is not the Manor Theater, what is it?
